The District Fifteen Office Building project involved the ground-up construction of a four-story, Class A office facility in Pittsburgh. Effective Project Planning & CPM Scheduling were integral in ensuring its successful completion. Designed for adaptability and long-term value, the building features an 18-foot ceiling height on the first floor to create a modern, open environment tailored to future tenants.
Our team provided full-scope consulting services, with a strong focus on project planning and CPM scheduling. From preconstruction through final delivery, we implemented critical path method (CPM) scheduling to coordinate milestones, streamline decision-making, and ensure timely execution across all phases.
In addition to premium office space, the project incorporates key tenant amenities. These include a landscaped public piazza, a fitness facility with changing areas, and electric vehicle charging stations. Our planning process ensured these features were integrated without compromising budget or schedule.
Moreover, the site offers 150 parking spaces, providing essential access for tenants and visitors. During project planning, our team carefully evaluated site logistics and phasing to minimize disruption and maintain safety.
We worked closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to align design goals with construction feasibility. Using CPM scheduling, we tracked progress and managed sequencing of critical tasks, allowing early identification and resolution of delays.
With an estimated budget of $22 million, cost control remained a priority throughout. Our consulting services included budget monitoring, value engineering, and schedule optimization—delivered in parallel with our ongoing project planning oversight.
The District Fifteen Office Building was designed with flexibility and sustainability in mind. Every element supports future-forward development aligned with Pittsburgh’s growing innovation economy. Our planning approach ensured the building would meet both immediate tenant needs and long-term performance standards.
Overall, by combining strategic project planning with precise CPM scheduling, we supported successful delivery from concept through completion. District Fifteen now stands as a model for smart, efficient, and sustainable commercial development—ready to serve the next generation of businesses.
